just some oil you drop on the steamers pad. It does't smell very much or very good. Don't bother.

I would not recommend Haan steam scents - juicy orange. The smell is not strong enough. So you have to put the scent on every 5 minutes. It gets to be expensive that way

When I bought my Haan steam cleaner the one thing I missed was a citrus scent but not anymore. I bought the steam scents "Juicy Orange" scent and it smells great.
Update: As of June 27, 2011 I can no longer open the bottle to use it. The screw cap will no longer grip the bottle to allow it to open. I will have to change my rating from 5 stars since I can no longer use the product.
The actual oil scent five stars. The bottle one star.
