KRUPS RK7011 10-Cup (Uncooked) 4-in-1 Rice Cooker Slow Cooker and Steamer, Silver

I love this equipment!
I have been using this particular rice cooker for about a month. I cook everyday and I am demanding of the appliances I give my valuable counter space to. This will have a place on my counter for years to come. I've used the rice cooker to make barley and was very pleased with the outcome. I like it because I can set it up and I don't have to watch over it. I steamed some green beans in the steamer and was very pleased with the outcome. I will be using this feature quite a bit. I used the slow cooker to do some pulled chicken and of course it came out perfectly. This never took the cooker to the boil stage and hence my chicken was tender. I would recommend this unit for anyone that cooks. By the way, it's just me and my husband that I cook for, and yes you would think the size is too big for 2 people. It is not too big at all if you are going to use it for more than rice. I will be using this instead of my slow cooker or steaming equipment. I like having one appliance that can...

Amazing appliance
Works exactly as expected. Cooks everything very well. This is the second one I purchase, the first I gave as a gift to my mother and once I saw how convenient it was I had to buy one for myself

Krups rice cooker
I HATED this appliance. I had had a Zozurushi that lasted for years and I replaced it with the Krups. Cleaning this machine is very difficult as there is an odd shaped lip around the top. And also you have to remove part of the cover on the inside. It's labor intensive. But my biggest complaint was that it cooked rice very poorly. The bottom layer was always browned so the heating element was too hot. I finally gave up and threw it away and bought another Zo which hasn't disappointed!

This product was not up to Krups usual high standards.
