Sensio Bella 13585 4 Slot Pie Maker, Red

Pleased
I bought this on sale from a brick and mortar store and was worried about the low price. I worried needlessly. I made 4 pies tonight to try it out. Three chicken/cheese and a peanut butter/jelly. They turned out great!!

The unit comes with two rings to cut the top and bottom crusts as well as a " pusher" to push the dough down into the wells. The pusher is a great addition that does not come with some of the other brands. Also this brand seems to have larger wells.

I was in a hurry to try this out and had no pie crust dough made up, so I used sandwhich bread. It really worked quite well. Both the bottom and tops were browned nicely and taste very crispy, however I would not depend on the machine to do the timing, it really needs a visual check.

Also, the pies with the different fillings needed different amounts of time. The height caused by the amount of filling makes a significant difference in browning time due to the pressure of the food against...

Mini Pies
I first use this product back in Febuary at my mother's house. She had purchased it back in December but had not used it yet. I used it and made mini crawfish pies, it was so easy to make everyone their own individual pie. Even though it does take longer everyone enjoy having their own pie. I purchase one for myself in May of this year and made several little pies for co-worker they appreciated and enjoyed the little pies.

The only no so good comment I have is that there is no on/off switch, you have to unplug it each time you make a set up pies so it cools down, which is very time consuming.

Mother's Day Gift
I received one for Mother's Day and it's awesome! I made chicken pot pies in like 20 mins. Then we tried cherry pies. It only took maybe 10 mins. This like appliance is so much fun! I can't wait to try out new pies.
